A new idea
Ruth and Ben had a new plan. They went to a fertility clinic and went through several cycles of artificial insemination. This time it would work, the two intended parents were sure.
Unfortunately, her hope sank with each attempt. After a total of four attempts, it was clear that this type of fertilization would not be successful. Their doctor advised them to fertilize two eggs in a test tube. Ruth and Ben agreed.
